Hi Sharon, Maybe look at serviced apartments e.g. The Meriton at Broadbeach.. Short walk to the beach and park, across the highway from Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, access to the tram system and buses.Close to The Star Casino and restaurants. Surfers Paradise is a short 6min tram ride way.I used to go up there over a dozen times a year, and thats precisely as I would have described it also. I just took a peek at BOM rainfall averages at the Gold Coast since 1992, and found something pretty interesting - .
